Here at the Anesthesia.com office a day does not pass without us debating the question "What can we do to make this the most visited site in the anesthesia world?".  For that reason I have regularly asked the site members and visitors for feedback and we have received some quality responses.  This constant push to make the site better an better has always existed due to a  fundemental belief about the state of the online offerings for anesthesia professionals.

There are some amazing sites for anesthesiologists, crnas, residents, and srnas.  The amount and quality of content available on sites like Anesthesia-Analgesia.com, Anesthesiology.com, and, and asahq.com (American Society of Anesthesiologists), to name a few,  are truly incredible.  There are also great sites that deal exclusively with job postings or CMEs and even more that are home to individuals blogging about the industry, semi-dedicated anesthesia forums, or even tools and software for the profession.

While we have a great deal of respect for many of the sites serving anesthesia professionals, we believe we are creating something better.  In someways different than a lot of our "competitors", but still better.  Please do not take this as arrogance, because in large part Anesthesia.com was created by many of the people that are reading this.  We have been, and will continue to be,  driven by the wants and needs of our patrons.  I am going to attempt to crystalize the current strategic vision of Anesthesia.com.

Cha - Cha - Changes

OK, I know we are barely 4 months old, but based on your feedback, we are "cleaning up" the look and feel of the site.  We are not changing any of the content sections, simply the layout.  So please bear with us over the next couple of days as you might come across something in the middle of redesign.   We hope you love the new look.

The next "big thing" for Anesthesia.com is going to be our CME section.  We want you to be able to find every applicable CME available to you, regardless of type or provider, here, and we want it to be easy for you to do it.   Sounds good right?  Here is how you can help.  Send me an email at Marty@Anesthesia.com or a private message me through the site letting me know where you usually find the CMEs that you take.  The more comprehensive a list we have, the better our results will be, and the happier the anesthesia world.

 Thank you,
